Towels, sponges and clamps are on show. Props, which are commonly seen in everyday life, become something else. This is a small work triggering children's imagination, which serves as an introduction for children who keep the first contact with drama. 

    The Three Little Pigs

    This is a masterpiece authored by the German fairy tale writer Green.

    One day, Pig Mother says to her lovely sons Three Pigs: 'I will go afar. As you have already grown up, it is wise to build your houses and live a happy life'. 

    The Eldest Pig is lazy, so he builds a simple house covered with straw. However, there is a terrible, terrible Wolf in the forest. Both younger brothers express: 'If you live in the house built with straw, you would immediately be eaten by Wolf'. The Eldest Pig closes his ears and says: 'You are cowards. I am not afraid of Wolf'. The Second Eldest Pig builds a wooden house. Only the Youngest Pig works hard and builds a solid brick house. 

    One day, a grey Wolf comes. The Eldest Pig's straw house is easily blown down by Wolf. The Eldest Pig rushes away and hides in the Second Eldest Pig's wooden house. However, the wooden house is quickly destroyed by Wolf. The Eldest Pig and the Second Eldest Pig jointly flee to the Youngest Pig's brick house. 

    Wolf plays the same old trick, but the brick house is absolutely motionless. Wolf is very angry and wants to break into the brick house from chimney. When the Eldest Pig and the Second Eldest Pig plan to escape, the Youngest Pig says to both elder brothers: 'Please do not escape. Let us band together now, and we can certainly defeat Wolf!'

    So the Three Little Pigs make a fire in the furnace, and drive away Wolf intending to slip in. Both elder brothers, who are usually boastful, are depressed in front of Wolf. 

    All children like appreciating this story on clever and lively Youngest Pig. This eternal masterpiece, which can evoke children's self-reliance spirit, self-denial spirit and adventurous spirit, is adapted into a drama.

    The first half follows the main line that a variety of daily necessities change into the lives unimagined by children mainly, which also add 'magic' element on the basis of 'Go'. In which, three performers quickly change standing positions behind two sliding backboards so that parents and children feel amazed. In the second half, three performers change into 'Three Little Pigs', and make use of ever-changing puppet to tell the story that how three simple-minded Pigs fight against 'Fool' Wolf when Pig Mother is not at home.  

    Three Little Pigs and Pig Mother change from in 'Portable Cloth Bag'. At the end of performance, they will restore into portable cloth bag to make the curtain call with performers. In the performance, Pigs can not only build their houses, but also hide behind a 'Mother' in the auditorium. Will 'Mother' protect 'Pigs' or be moved by 'Sweet Words and Honey Songs' of 'Wolf'? This depends on stability of 'Mother'! 

    The Three Little Pigs has been performed for more than 2,000 times around the world. This drama is suitable for the children aged 2-6 to watch. It is often staged in Holiday Classic Theatre of China Children's Art Theatre, with packed audiences.
