Feng Li, Female, Hui ethnicity, born in June 1966. She is a Bachelor of Art, the National First-Level scriptwriter and member of the Communist Party of China. She serves as the President and the Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the China National Theatre for Children. She is a member of 14th National Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference, the President of China Children’s Drama Society, the President of ASSITEJ China, Member of Chinese Writers Association, the Member of China Soong Ching Ling Foundation, the Member of Chinese Dramatists Association and Beijing Dramatists Association. She is the Outstanding Expert of Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the People’s Republic of China, Leading Cultural Figure and ‘Four Kinds of Talents’ Program by Publicity Department of the Communist Party of China, the doctoral supervisor and visiting Professor of Department of Dramatic Literature of Central Academy of Drama.
Her main play-writing works include Children’s Play TR-E-E, Goat Does not Eat Paradise Grass, Little Tadpole Looks for its Mummy, the Adventure of Firefly Sister and Brother, A Cat’s Legend in the Forbidden City, Stage Play Chinese Soldiers, Musical in That Distant Place, Ballet the Dream of the Red Chamber, TV Series Beijing Summer, I Love My Home and etc. She served as a core member of the creative planning team and a key creative contributor for major national cultural events, including the large-scale epic performance The Great Journey, celebrating the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China. She also served as the chief scriptwriter for five consecutive Ministry of Culture Spring Festival Galas.
Her main honors include Cao Yu Theatre Award for writing of China Theatre Awards, Special Award of the Five ‘One’ Project, China Broadcasting and Television Award, Excellent Drama Award and Excellent scriptwriter Award of the First National Academy of Arts Outstanding Drama Exhibition, the 4th Animation Awards of China Government Award for Culture and Arts, China Population Culture Award, Starlight Award of China Television Arts, China Flying Apsaras Award of Television Damas, Chun Yan Award of Beijing Television Arts, My Favorite Spring Festival Gala Program Award, and etc. Her works have been selected into the 2019 script Support Project of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, Stage Masterpieces Centenary 100 Productions Creation Project celebrating the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China, one of the 40 Influential Dramas and one of the 40 Influential scriptwriters in the 40-year influential list of Chinese Contemporary Small Theatres, and etc.
